UPDATE 4:30EDT: The Toyota is beating the 300 harder than you’d beat, well, a rental 300. Vote now if you’re naive enough to think that there’s any hope for a comeback.

Welcome back to Battle of the Base Wheels.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
we split the full-size sedan segment into two groups. Today, the winners of each group will face off for the title.
On the U.S. side it was a slugfest between the 300 and the Taurus with the 300 emerging victorious.
The 2016 Chevy Impala: Find New Wheels.
Over in Asia, the Avalon stayed grounded to the ground and fought off the upstart Cadenza.
Better luck next time, Hyundai.
So there you have it folks. It’s come down to a cage match between Chrysler and the Toyota.
Let the games begin!

I missed the previous round and find both of these “meh,” but the Chrysler gets the nod from me — even though it has some higher-profile, bulbous tires on it that don’t help the total package. The Avalon's "base" is a higher notch than the 300 to begin with.

That Avalon looks rather nice. Raph approved as well!
There are 500 bazillion Chrysler 300 in Houston and they are all in horrid shape and 99% of them have the worst after market chrome wheels.

I was really pulling for the Taurus, but had to go with 300 for this final round. The Avalon looks like it’s wearing cheap heels in a jogging suit.

I'm not a big fan of either but I like the 300s wheels more.

This is a tough one. Each wheel fits the car it’s on, so it’s a better choice for the given vehicle. In the end, if I had to choose a wheel to to put on my own cars, the Chrysler wins, as I think the slightly concave design looks more agressive.
